1. Not Medical Advice
All content we publish, including articles, videos, graphics, FAQs, and chat responses, is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and does not replace an individual evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. Do not start, stop, or change any medication, supplement, hormone, or treatment based on our content. Always talk with your healthcare provider about your own health.
2. No Patient-Provider Relationship
Reading our content, submitting a form, using our chat assistant, calling, emailing, texting, or messaging us on social media does not create a patient-provider relationship. That relationship begins only after you complete our intake, evaluation, and consent process and we accept you as a patient.
3. Medical Emergencies
Our website, chat assistant, email, text messages, and social media are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
4. Results Vary
Individual results vary. Outcomes depend on many factors, including medical history, genetics, age, medications, underlying conditions, lifestyle, and how closely a treatment plan is followed. No treatment works for everyone, and we do not guarantee any specific result, timeline, or amount of change.
5. Testimonials and Before-and-After Images
Testimonials, reviews, and before-and-after images reflect the experiences of individual patients and are not typical or guaranteed results. They are shared only with the patient’s written authorization and have not been altered to change the outcome shown.
6. Treatment Eligibility
Not every treatment described on our website is right for every person. Eligibility is determined only by a licensed provider after an evaluation, which may include your medical history, a physical exam, laboratory testing, and screening for contraindications. Describing a treatment on our website does not mean you will qualify for it.
7. Compounded Medications
Some medications we prescribe, such as compounded GLP-1 medications, peptides, and bioidentical hormones, are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. Compounded medications are prescribed only when a provider determines they are appropriate for you, and they are not generic versions of any brand-name drug.

9. Dietary Supplements

Care at Synchronicity Health is provided by Somer Schreiber-Small, FNP-C, MSCP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Our nurse practitioners are not physicians. Vincent Covelli, MD, board-certified in Infectious Diseases, serves as our supervising physician.
Health and nutrition coaching is educational and supports, but does not replace, care from your provider.
11. Artificial Intelligence
Our chat assistant and some automated messages use artificial intelligence. AI is never presented as a nurse practitioner, physician, nurse, or other licensed healthcare professional, and nothing it says is provided by one. If we use generative AI to write a message about your clinical information and a licensed provider has not reviewed it, the message will say so and tell you how to reach a member of our team.
12. Accuracy of Content
We work to keep our content accurate and current. Medical knowledge changes quickly, so some information may become outdated. Our content may not reflect the most current research or guidelines at the time you read it.
13. Third-Party Links and Products
Links to outside websites, studies, pharmacies, labs, and products are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
